MEX SALAK SELATAN / KUCHAI LAMA MERGE
MEX SALAK SELATAN / KUCHAI LAMA MERGE
This is the most consistent bottleneck. Traffic from the Besraya and KL-Seremban highways merges here. In the evening, the queue to exit toward Kuchai Lama often spills back onto the MEX main line.
MEX SERI KEMBANGAN / BUKIT JALIL INTERCHANGE
MEX SERI KEMBANGAN / BUKIT JALIL INTERCHANGE
This point handles a massive volume of traffic from the MRR2 and Bukit Jalil. The "Awan Kecil" stretch is a known slow point where the highway often crawls during the 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM rush.
MEX SERI KEMBANGAN R&R AREA (KM15)
MEX SERI KEMBANGAN R&R AREA (KM15)
There is a slight gradient and a merging point for traffic coming from the Seri Kembangan toll. Heavy traffic often builds up here before the road clears up heading toward Cyberjaya.
MEX PUTRAJAYA TOLL PLAZA
MEX PUTRAJAYA TOLL PLAZA
While the toll itself is efficient, the "fork" immediately after the toll—where drivers must choose between Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, or the ELITE highway—causes lane-switching friction and sudden braking. Towards Putrajaya/Cyberjaya (PM).
